There is nothing more beautiful than a person whose heart has been broken, but still believes in love. 
A commonly held belief by a person whose heart has been broken is that love is something that isn't quite capable of working or lasting for a lifetime. As this is so, it is very shocking when a person who has been broken hearted is able to forgive what has happened in the past and is able to believe in love despite the pain of the past.
Be a believer. The only things that will never be real to us are the things that we refuse to give any of our faith or hope to, and believe in.
Remember that life is full of its ups and downs, and though it is hard to even consider dating again after being heartbroken, one does have to seek love, one just must be open to love, and one must believe that love is still possible so that when a true love does appear to them, they will be able to see it, and hold on to it.
